- Practice etiquette
- Read the lineup BEFORE you get there so you know your canoe and seat.
- Get to practice on time
- Need to get in our workout in 1.5 hours
- Need to help get canoes ready: lights, life vests
- Some A360 members need extra time to get ready
- Don’t put your workday stress on everyone else
- Race practices on weekends are going to start earlier so timing is crucial. Need to finish before the recs and non-racing A360
- Come early to stretch, warm up
- Plastic water bottles or make sure you have a covering on them
- EVERYONE needs to help load and bring out the canoes.
- Help other crews get before leaving for boatyard
- Read the workout BEFORE you come! Keep the chatter down so you can hear the steer’s voice
- ALL Canoes need to be washed, wiped down and covered after practice. When summer comes, it’s crucial we cover up the iakos, ropes and straps
- Help other canoes clean up so we can go home faster
- Put away the sponges and chamois
- Huli drills
- EVERYONE racing will need to be part of an actual huli BEFORE you race.
